E!... O Marvelous Mystic, "Tomber dans le pommes" is what I will do if you get 3 cents per dollar of vulture profits on any settled suit. "Dans le Chit" is what the vultures should get..., IMHO..
There is almost a continuous dance on these deals... The companies know they have to put up with the harassment, so long as these suits "on behalf of the shareholders" remain legal... for them it is part of the cost of doing Silicon Valley business. By now they know just about how much the vulture..err that is, the legal firms need to recoup to make partner payments for the year, so they offer a "generous" settlement, which just happens to cover "all legal expenses", plus ta da, ta da...(hmmm lets call it "Zero Plus").... well, on the last one I didn't even bother to write in for my share, after two years of waiting... let it sit in the shareholder's pot until there is a call for widow's mites again...those were popular about 1,997 years ago, I believe...so they are due to come back, no?
"Full legal expenses" worked out pretty good though, I understand.
If you have a way to get THAT pot...go for it!! Yes, Virginia, there are good lawyers....and tooth fairies...and sugar plums... TSO
