Boston Marathon bombs were placed in 6-litre pressure cookers, used nails, metal and BBs to maim A six litre cooker will weigh 8-9 pounds. If fully packed it could contain ~98 pounds of steel. Putting this bomb in place would take considerable effort even if only half full.
