Tench, just look at the actual data.

Its always possible that any single point will have wildly different causes, but at least make an argument from data for why you think what you think.

It could be Iran or NK for that matter. But there isn't much historical data to support that either.

You could sample the SI political boards and see whether left or right makes more threats about violence for political reasons. If you do, please don't cherry pick examples, do a good job and show the stats.
