Ali Chen in AMD thread and I have figured out that it would take 30% off Winstone97 rating from both PMMX and PII if their L2 caches are disabled.

Without L2 cache, PII-266 would perform as fast as a regular (512K L2 cache) Pentium MMX-200 under Winstone97. In reality, the cacheless PII-266 might be slower than PMMX-200 when a RAM (smartdrv) cache succeed in PMMX L2 cache.

Yes, 128-bit MXi is a very exciting chip for every PC users. I wonder why NSM haven't started its promotion to create the market demands for this chip yet?
