2008 deja vue. Jesse (of the Cafe) is of the party that thinks this wholesale assault on metals and energy betokens some undisclosed major instability in the finance system - hypotheses abound. Some funds
must be getting killed along with retail investors. Yesterday Harvey Organ longish explanations of the mechanics of the selloff by Ted Butler and Chris Martenson that made some sense. Jim Jubak has a
good essay on the four diff sorts of gold investors and what they are likely to do going forward. He thinks the bottom will be in only when supply/demand and miners' breakeven crunch hard, around 1250 or so.
Very grim prospect given what we've been thinking on this board for ages.
