Tunica, i believe you are relying a little too strongly towards the negatives. You fail to consider the set-back NN is going to suffer in this qyarter from UB cut-backs will be made up by Broadbands sale. Secondly allthough AT&T is cutting costs I have not heard them say they are freezing upgrades on their equipment. The equipment does not increase their costs, but makes them more efficient. I believe the costs they are adressing are personnel costs. In addition even if Japan is a little slow now, NN seems to strong in parts of the world that are undergoing extensive telecom upgrades( Middle East, Europe, etc.)
I believe the company is very strong, a leader in a high-growth industry and will not be effected as much as some people believe by the Asian situation. Most of the ill effects from Asia will be limited to consumer related industries. Telecom companies is Asia are still at a high growth point and are qggressively upgrading their equipment.
I believe a lot of the short-sellers today are trying to over-play the Asian situation to fatten their wallets on other peoples nervousness.
