My sister sent me this link this morning.
She works as an office manager for an oil/propane gas firm in Hancock, NY. She has told me, over the past few years, that the Muslims who live in this nearby compound often come into the business wanting their propane tanks refilled. The owner of the business is often off-site, and the Muslims refuse to fill and carry the propane tanks themselves (as most others do), but prefer to be waited on. Since it is the policy of the business to accede to such a request, my sister is responsible for serving them. They insist that my 5’6”, 110 lb. sister carry the heavy tank to their van for them, even in snowy/icy weather, often snickering as she does so.
She says they are extraordinarily rude and arrogant, and quite a few of them are receiving government/taxpayer energy assistance.
Reading this article makes me even more livid than I have been after hearing her personal accounts regarding what is going on in the Hancock environs.

In Hancock, NY an Islamic community that sits on 80 acres of land has decided to form its own government. They call their community: The Town of Islamberg. They have their own mayor, deputy mayor and five town council members. None of them are elected, of course.
They even boast that their “town” provides departments of education, medical, finance and land development services.
This Islamic compound has truly become a city-state. Though not recognized as a legitimate township by the City of Hancock, this Islamic community nevertheless enforces its own laws on the “citizens” within its borders. They do so by using the iron fist of Sharia law.
I interviewed a member of this camp, which sits deep in the Catskills Mountains of upstate New York. The Islamic group that has established this camp is part a network known as Muslims of the Americas (MOA), which has documented links to Al Qaeda.
MOA has established similar villages in nearly three-dozen locations nationwide, with other prominent camps found in Texas, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, California and Tennessee ... (continued) |
