Simplicity, the more I read about these two bombers, the less I believe they're an active part of any Islamic jihad. The missing link here is what ultimately triggered these two young losers into becoming bombers. Sure they're Muslim, and they might have had sympathies for Al Qaeda, but their actions following the bombing suggests that they're more like Adam Lanza, Eric Klebold, or Seung-Hui Cho than actual Al Qaeda operatives.
