The chief of a mysterious Madagascar tribe welcomed the American anthropologist with their friendly hard slap across the face. The tribe glared at him threateningly when he cried "Ow!" Inviting the anthropologist to do likewise, he slapped the chief just as hard, but recoiled when he yelled, "Whoopee!"
