First you set up Google Drive tools.google.com Then you download the Google Drive sync exec. This sets your machine with a Google Drive folder that resides on your computer. It will then sync those files in your local folder up to the Google Drive Cloud. I selected to have only one of my folder's sync that I called "Schwab_Prints". Using the The Street Smart Edge program, load their chart module. Create one of your charts and then "right click" and select print preview. You further select preview options "fit-to-page" so the entire graph is create. Finally, you must configure your Google Cloud Printer either "classic" or "Connect ready" support.google.com I just went into WinXP, control panel, and selected Printers & Faxes". I modified the Windows ".XSP" pre configured printer. Just select "properties" and rename it Google_Drive AND VERY IMPORTANT paste in the http: location of your "In_The_Cloud" file folder. This is found by loging into your Google Drive In The Cloud, drilling down to the folder you created called "Schwab_Prints" and cut & past the URL. This is what is pasted in the Windows properties screen. Save this new printer configuration as Google_Drive. You must also set the Google Cloud preference as to who can read you print charts. I set the "share" mode to "anybody with the link". To test everything, print the chart from the StreetSmart Edge chart module, Your will be prompted to select a printer; select your newly configured printer "Google_Drive". You will be asked to name the print file you are creating. I just use the tiker symbol of the chart. Press OK. You new print image file is created and sent to your Google Drive file folder In-the-cloud via the Google Drive that you have set up on your machine that sync's the file(s) to the cloud. It sounds more complicated that it is. Just be sure to install the Google Drive Sync program linked at the top of this page, set up you Google Drive account in the Cloud and finally configure a local print driver w/ location and name. Any chart I create w/ the Schwab package (probable will work w/ the Ameritrade platform too), I can print it to my Google in the Cloud account, and then post it on SI using either URL image or just the link.
