As California and many countries have shown in history all have led directly to confiscation. After confiscation, there are no rights. Imagine a platoon of soldiers that accidentally lost all their weapons in a combat area. That's what post confiscation is like. You have no way to defend yourselves from anything. In the military, losing your weapon is an extremely serious offense.
