If the Germans had kept their pact with Russia and concentrated on invading England we would probably ALL be speaking German today.

It is possible though unlikely. Eventually after Germany conquered Europe Hitler would have turned to Russia.

America was still recovering from FDR's massive mismanagement of the economy. America was ready to build a massive juggernaught of an economy. If it had been several years later, we still could have pivoted and built a massive military almost overnight. Our resources were coming from this hemisphere.

Japan would have unseated Mao and his efforts to destroy China. Maybe that economic power would have been unleashed and we would be speaking Japanese.
