So when the CIC aka President asks God to bless the troops as they go about killing innocent people it's not the same as "in the name of God?"


there's a big difference. If we go to war to spread our religtion
or because the existence of people of a different faith is an affront to our God
or that God has has instructed us to conquer non-believers

that's "in the name of God"

Hell, I say "God bless you" when somebody sneezes. Do you see that as encouraging something "in the name of God?"

You come off sounding pretty stupid when you parse like that.


Actually, I sound like someone who understands the English Language. You do not.
