When I first joined SI, Fleck was participating in person. Once someone posted, "That's not the real Bill Fleckenstein you are talking to." He posted, "How do you know that?"

I exchanged a couple of messages with him. But then one or two of these foul-mouthed idiots that turn up began to try to give him a hard time and he dropped out.
