>> drones are killing innocents continually in the ME.

Not continually, but it does happen. Consider the alternative, which would be B52s flying over and dropping 2,000 lb bombs.

Drones are exceptionally humane, cause far fewer civilian casualties than probably any other aggressive weapons system since the invention of aircraft, and they have the side benefit of keeping US military personnel who would be flying missions safe.

>> Bush/Bama condone torture

This, of course, is not true at all. Bush condoned waterboarding of a total of THREE individuals during the entire time he was in office. And anyone in his right mind would also have supported its use under the circumstances. Some people, including me, don't consider waterboarding to be torture. And while it may be fun, no one was harmed by it in US custody.

>> Bradley Manning exposes it and he's facing life.

He aided the enemy (and a host of other crimes), for which he could be put to death. He should consider himself very lucky.

I believe drones are one of the most effective weapons systems we've ever developed in terms of saving lives and overall effectiveness. But the potential for misuse in American civilian hands is great.

I think you don't understand some simple things about war. Sometimes wars are essential to solving problems. Such is the case with the Iraq & Afg. wars.
