You've got a point in that people tend to see differences before they see similarities.

We look for the most similar species and then we proudly point out the differences yet the similarities are glaring.

Is there such a big difference between species, look around, a dog or a horse has two ears, two eyes, a brain and nervous system and lungs.

And today we are asked to accept science on faith by the lab coat clerics who declare they have everyone's best interest at heart. They say the science is settled.
