Cats out of the bag

Hedge fund manager on BNN proudly claimed today his short on the GDXJ claiming that it protected him against takeovers as it was diversified in a troubled industry.
This confirms how these ETFs are the cat's meow for naked shorts. They just continue to whack the ETF without a care in the world resulting in perfectly good companies being driven down by forced ETF selling.
Get rid of them. ETFs have been a terrible development in the market as they allow unmeasured and uncontrolled shorting.
Same thing true with ABX and the GDX. Death spiral until they turn the big dog around
