It makes absolute sense. Denmark has a serious alcohol problem. You look at flowery polls about the happiest place on earth, but that doesn't change the fact that alcoholism in Denmark is a serious problem. And happy cultures don't have a significant portion of the population turning to alcohol for escapism.

When I look at Denmark, I look past the flowery liberal bullshit. Denmark is spiraling down the drain faster than we are. They are in trouble. And because of liberal denial, there is nothing that will stop them.
