Williet, Do you mean the Presario 2200 for $549 from Micro Wharehouse? The one with the Cyrix chip? That may be a refurb but still.. I agree...Compaq is really starting to turn the screws on the sub $1000 wannabees... Best price around here for a 2200 is $749. Probably $699 before Christmas...then the 200MMX model in Jan...and the GX notebook which will be THE blockbuster product...trust me. Jim
