You are projecting. We liberals don't use talking points, you right wingers do. We liberals figured all this stuff out for ourselves, I know I did. I grew up in a tough town, Richmond California and was a dumb as a post at 19, but somehow figured out I was dumb and set out to change that.

By learning!

I spent six years in college (and paid for every dime of it myself) and two years lying on a couch reading every smart person in the world I could think of to try and learn a more sophisticated understanding of the world.

The reason we watch MSNBC, Chris Hays and Maddow is to learn. Hays is just plain smarter than I am and pretty much every one else, by a lot, and he speaks truth to power, and when he points out a big concept I never saw, I learn. Maddow is more an honest muchracker and god knows we need them.

MSNBC has become a think tank and university showcasing some of the smartest people in the world to learn from.

That you cannot see how smart and honest and important they are defines who you are!
