DELL is run by a very screwd businessman who sells whatever iNTEL sells him. Testing at Dell is very limited and usually involves only those vanilla items
that they add on their very limited initiative.

The industry trade publications are extremely aggressive when it comes to quality problems showing up at the top-tier manufacturers and Michael Dell would indeed be a screwd versus a shrewd business man if your patently ridiculous assertions were true. The return costs, customer services costs and lost business costs would drive them out of business and that's one of the primary reasons for AST's dismal performance. Not knowning the first thing about hardware or software, save perhaps the distinction, hasn't precluded Michael Dell from putting together a first-rate assembly and QA operation. After all, this is an integration company, not a development company.
