Craig-for reasons different than yours, I must agree with you. Livingston and ASND have significant product area overlaps and would be a wasteful purchase for LU. Also ASND far-east service and sales force is currently in disarray and would wreck havoc on LU's nice efficient one. Look at options activity. Hot, but not befitting an actual merger of this size. Finally, look at trading in LU and CSCO. If this was live, LU would be down on fears of earning dillution and CSCO would be down on fears that mighty LU is jumping into data networking with both feet.
