Let us quit living in the past and move to the current times, the current times when blacks and whites and members of other races should shoulder to shoulder and voted for the first time and another time thereafter, the first African American to the White House. The White House built by African American slaves that ultimately came to be occupied by the offsprings of slaves. The biggest tribute to America.

Now what do you is happening when we witness an unprecedented act where a White man (representing a state that has a history of slavery) yells out at the US President in the hallowed walls of Congress "You lie" during the SOTU address.

What do see happening when an elderly woman's mike was grabbed by Se. McCain because she was uttering words which bordered on religious intolerance. You think that woman was a Democrat attending a Republican party rally for the Republican Party Presidential candidate.

What do you see happening when a smart guy like Donald Trump tries to secure the Republican Party Presidential nomination by stirring up the "birther controversy". A White man again appealing to the fringes of a party consisting of racist.

You are not the only one that is multicultural. And that is not makes one a Democrat or a Republican or an Independent. It is compassion that appeals to all. You don't have to be smart, you do not have to be person of letters. All you have to do is say "compassionate conservative" or "compassionate liberal" and that will get you elected to the highest office in the land because that word compassion is what appeals to all of us.

I voted for Obama both the times and proud for doing so. I know what I did and will never regret my decision. However, I also will criticize him just like I do for my brothers and sisters in my family. And about Hillary. Her father was a Republican. He advised Hillary against marrying a liberal Democrat. But she knew well to not let politics and political ideology come in the way of things like love of a human being. That is not a Democratic idea or a Republican idea. Because she has demonstrated that, she has earned my vote should she run because I know well that when it comes to love for the US, she will make the right choice.
