What matters to the African American is what happened in the last 50 years. And the liberals and dems stood back to back with them. Heck, the Republican governors throughout the country are messing with the blacks right now. What do you think shortening the voting time is about or banning it on sunday (when most blacks vote after church)? Look at the 7 hour lines in Florida last year because Scott shortened voting. All of those states doing it: Ohio, Florida, Wisconsin, etc are doing it specificially to try and cut into the black vote. Do you think the blacks don't notice. Lee Atwaters Southern Strategy in the 60's onward was directly a plan to get the white vote for the Republcian party by disenfranchising the blacks. He said so. So why would blacks vote for pubs? I think you have a set image of reality and feel MSNBC lies because they say things that go agaisnt your beliefs. Liberals sort of let reality flow through them, but conservatives try to fight it. It is why Nixon vetoed pre school funding. He didnt want them influenced by edcuation which might challenge closely held views.
