There is some real buzz going in Fisher County about that Cline shale. I inherited a fragmentary royalty interest in an old conventional well there, which a land company recently bought out at a rate that would cost them more than a million to buy up all 100%, before they even started a horizontal workover. Someone else in another land office down there said a few companies are actually trying horizontal wells at $10 million a pop, but she hadn't heard about any great results so far. FWIW, she said the shale areas were projected in far north Fisher County.

I know DVN is one of those companies. I have been watching them but no position yet.
