Thank you for posting that. Many years ago I tried to confront the Clinton surplus lie by showing that there was NO YEAR - NO YEAR - that the federal debt declined during the Clinton era.

BTW - they ALWAYS forget that the bursting of the internet stock bubble ended any prospect of a Clinton balanced budget. However, the loons will tell you there were surpluses for as far as the eye can see.
