Michael,

If gold should rebound to a reaonable level in 1998, which I fully expect, I feel that it is safe to say, that $3 is extremely conservative. South America is the most important area in which most of the majors, as well as several juniors, are focusing their money and attention. Peru, Chile, Brazil and Venezuela are hot countries. As well, you do not have the political interference nor the political instability like Russia, Africa and other parts in Asia. Thus, the atmosphere is very condusive for many exploration companies to want to do business in these countries. I have tended to shy away from Africa and parts of Asia because of such reasons, even before the Bre-X fiasco. Anyhow, OROP is one of 3 juniors that I like a great deal in South America.

Cheers,

Zeus
