I am supposedly included in the group you are fond of touting. Electrical and plastics engineering (double degrees), and yet I have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Republicans DO use actual figures and facts to prove their point. Of course, sometimes they use "fuzzy math" or false figures to achieve their objective, but they use facts and figures none the less. Democrats are all about feeling, not facts. They want to make sure everyone receives fair treatment...so they "feel good" about themselves. They are all against any form of bullying or violence, because it makes people "feel bad" when they are subjected to it. They promote "empowerment", which again is a feeling. They promote environmental issues, once again because of empathy they feel for other living things. None of these things have anything to do with facts and figures.
