On the other hand, Maria B has touted (my understanding) that Lucent will make a $40 bid for ASND! Takeover rumor here has been out a long time, but this time a lot of shareholders will be pissed off if the big offer doesn't come through quickly.
Was going to jump in this morning under $30 if possible thinking that a $35 deal was imminent, but now too risky for me since am margined too high. BUT I do feel a bid for the high $30's will come and Cramer will -- well, you know!
- but, ya, J, a beer (or a cappuccino) in Milano is fine with me. What the hell, I haven't been there yet!!!
