First, I was showing the fact that the Right is pursuing the same tactics, which is true. Second,
provided free nourishing food, clothing, a warm bed, and free medical care, then provided free transport home. You try to make this sound as if it is all done with smiles and "please" and with dignity. It is not, and is a harrowing and humiliating experience. The food is very poor quality, the clothing is a jumpsuit with "Prisoner" labeled on it, the bed is a slice of metal or concrete with a one inch pad and no medical care is provided unless there is a life threatening situation. Third, my grandfather was there at Dachau, and most of the pictures the public sees were taken by him, using a camera he had confiscated from a German propaganda officer, so yes, I know exactly what went on there. I have seen more pictures and heard more about it than you have, from a person who was there. This is the future for Hispanic illegals if the slide down this path is not stopped. You know as well as I do that the terms people from Mexico have thrown at them are not just "illegals". Even the way the far Right says "Mexican" with a sneer (like Mark Levin uses) is done in a derogatory manner. This too is a fact. The groundwork for the future was already laid with the passing of the Patriot Act, which sets aside many areas in the US to be used as concentration camps. Read the actual Act. Once again, I agree with you that we don't treat them the way Germany did the Jews (yet), however that does not discount the fact that the rhetoric today is the same as German rhetoric in the early 1930's towards the Jews, and the groundwork has been done to go that direction. |
