But...are Conservatives by and large FOR immigration? No. Are they FOR gay marriage? No. Do the majority of them refer to Hispanics as "Mexicans" in a derogatory way? Yes. (Listen to Mark Levin, one of the mouthpieces.) Are they FOR Pro-Choice? No. Are they FOR reforming our criminal justice system, reducing the numbers incarcerated and using rehabilitation instead of punishment? No. These are all social issues where I differ from Conservatives and in fact are more Left. (While I personally think abortion is murder, I do not think it is my responsibility to legislate someone else's morality on the issue.)
