I didn't ban you because of your views. i banned you because of your behavior wherein you took on the role of telling someone (a host at another thread) to not post on this thread because as you put it "he banned you on his thread." I don't think that is becoming of a behavior of a non-right wing. Only right wingers behave that way. If you had a falling out with that thread host on his thread, it is not necessary to bring that feud here.

Regarding opinions and views, I second SiouxPal where the very first line there is that Republicans should not post on his thread. These threads are private and hence all that talk of freedom of expression does not apply. similar to the example I gave you of my adult son living under my roof and owning a gun in spite of my telling him not to do so.

Regarding your observation that discussions on this thread picked up. yes indeed it did. But see what a major part of the discussion was? All about liberal and conservative philosophy. This thread is about Obama and his policies: immigration, gun control, sequester. We just saw a Obama victory where he did just what the House told him to do on the sequester: across the board cuts as opposed to his suggestion that we cut wisely. And what happened? Delays increased at the airports just like he said. And finally the House relented.

But this thread did not discuss this much. Instead exchanges went on about liberals and conservatives.
