I must admit. You've got me stumped. What is iTunes Helper? Mine doesn't have one. I know. I searched for it using Spotlight.

iTunes will open sometimes if it has unfinished business. Mine did that for a couple of days, but it seems to have finished, now. I really didn't know what was triggering it. I suppose it had something to do with updating or syncing with my devices. At the time, and now, I had 2 iPads and an iPhone to keep synced.

I did go through and make sure all of them were up to date and set to sync over wifi. One of the iPads got confused and had to be reset and restored from backup. That might be what was causing my problems.

The way I could tell is I started getting a lot of unable to sync messages.
