I guess you missed that part. But my point still stands. It wasn't until 1924 that any quotas or serious restrictions were placed on immigration. Prior to that, yes the US practiced racism in regards to immigration policy in some areas of it, I will agree with you there. Maybe the Right will introduce a "Hispanic Exclusion Act" based on the Chinese one if they push hard enough. Just a thought.....
