Hi Tenchusatsu; Re pharma costs on R&D... Something I don't trust about these numbers is that they're looking at the over-all figures for the company's spending. That's not right. Instead, the drugs need to be analyzed one at a time. My suspicion is that it will drastically depend on the drug. The drugs that are big hits are the ones that have a lot of advertising expense and low R&D. But those are not the drugs that are at risk of not being developed. It's the drugs with smaller markets that are at risk. And for those, I bet the advertising / R&D costs are completely reversed. If the left gets its (stupid) way, they wouldn't force the drug companies out of existence, they'd just force them to quit doing research in the small market drugs. -- Carl
