Scott, I'm bullish on Quantum for the long-term. I know we QNTM investors don't like the comparison but those shorting this DD sector see the following: WDC down 3x off Annual Highs - Bad News reported (several subsequent drops) SEG down 2.5x off Annual Highs - Bad News reported (several subsequent drops) QNTM down 1.8x off Annual Highs - No News reported (several drops) These shorts potential have huge profits shorting this sector and may be looking for the last holdout. Remember 10M short at $35 avg (over Oct/Nov)is now a very large gain. Why not risk another 20% drop in the shortrun and you can easily cover a 10% up move with little lost in the venture as long as Management is silent. We've had pretty good broker/analyst comments (& even some buying) but this stock appears to be stuck at this level in a strong uptrend market at the moment (IMHO).
