I'm not sure why you refuse to read the links that I provided that show you are wrong. You've apparently made up your mind despite what the history actually was. History shows, if you care to look and learn, that immigration was a complex issue that changed a lot from one year to the next. Some years it was very easy to get in and people did find a way around the FEDERAL laws. Other years it was not so easy and many MANY people got here and were deported. And many races were discriminated against. The Chinese (and others) were not allowed in at all! Your statements to me are factually false! Get a book on the history of immigration and at least get your facts strait.......
