Get this...DB today: *** DDD remains extremely thin following their earnings print on Tuesday. Shorts took down the limited borrow remaining heading into the release despite spot rates trending through 30% rebate in the lending market. We est current SI to be 29M shares or ~36% of the outstanding float. With less than 250k shares remaining in lending supply, shorts have already been struggling to find liquidity to trade. In addition, with the stock trading up by more than 7% since its 4/29 close ($35.77), we anticipate long sales will generate recall pressure in the upcoming trading sessions, putting even more pressure on current rebates. Despite the recent move in the stock price, we have not seen any significant covering by the existing short base.
