I don't know what it means for AMD's future, I will let the analysts figure that one out, but AMD is still doing well today even with a downgrade: <<May 2, 2013 7:25 AM EDT Macquarie downgraded AMD (NYSE: AMD) from Outperform to Neutral.>> As I write this post, AMD is up again today, about 1.5 percent from yesterday's close.
