Bob, It could be "buyout rumors". Last summer and fall there were several articles, etc, written on AMD buyout rumors. If true, that would be a good reason for the runup. Even with the downgrade issued today, AMD is up another 3+ percent as I write this post. That is atop the 22 percent gain already registered by AMD for the first 3 days of this week. Don
