Beta testers: Do you find that you're doing scans more often now that the speed has increased with the 32-bit version of QP2? I use this one most nights now, and it's turned up a few good short-term low-cap trades:

output="highqrs.lst";
if Close(0)> max(-1,-250,cl) and
qrs(0)>=85 and
PE<50 and
close(0)<10 and
Sharesfloat<=20 and
avgvol(0,-29)>25000 then;
println Symbol , "," , " Close:", Close(0) , "," , " Vol:", vol(0) , " , " , " PE:", PE , " , " , " QRS:", QRS(0) , "," , " Sharesfloat:", Sharesfloat , "," , description;
endif;

Some of the picks are extremely risky -- since these are volatile stocks that are riding high. Take one of last night's finds, for example: ALTN. Or another one from earlier this week, HAUP. Their time in the limelight is sometimes short-lived, and they turn out to be bitter lemons.

Other recent ones are LEAF, ADGE, VIDE, UTCI and TASA.

It helps to examine the fundamentals carefully before leaping in, to look for good chart patterns and to make use of your favorite overbought/oversold indicators. ALTN looks way overbought -- what will it retrace to?

Any thoughts on other nightly scans?

Brooke
