John--Zechariah has already been fulfilled. Hundreds of thusand of Jews accepted the Lord Jesus in the first century. The early Christians Church was at first almost exclusively Jewish. It is the Jews that wen out into Roman and Greek North Africa and Asia minor and confeted many to Christ. The first missionaries to Europe were almost all Jews. Zachariah has long been fulfilled. I do not have bitterness against any human being--jew or gentile.
Christ has shed His blood for all. My comments only appear bitter because you and others are not accustomed to hears the bold and honest truth.
The most jewish thing in the world is accepting Jesus as the Messiah that He is.

I believe that you need to do some medatation on what was the nature of Judaism 2000 years ago and what is the nature of Judaism today.
2000 years ago Judaism was an OLd TESt based religion. They had a priesthood and Temple given by God. They had a genealogy that was maintained by the Levitical Priesthood. etc. etc.

Modern Judaism is based upon the Babylonian Talmud. The hundreds of thousands of jews that accepted Christ represented the authentic Judaism of their day. The authentic Judaism of these Christian Jews became the Christian church. The rituals of the synagogue and the Temple evolved into the ancient Christian Liturgies. This Jewish beginning can easily be seen in the modern Greek Othodox's St. Chrysostom Liturgy. The early Liturgy of St. James was the beginning of the conversion of Synagogue worship into what we call today Church Worship.
So, in essence, Chrisitanity today is authentic Judaism

Modern Talmudic Judaism is based upon those Jews that rejected Jesus and God's salvation. After rejecting Jesus these Jews went about forming a new religion based upon anti-christ rabbinical speculation called the Babylonian Talmud. In 90 A.D. the leaders of this new and anti-God Judaism meet in Jamnia and formulated a new plan and a new canon of scriptures. The foudnation of the new Talmudic Judaism would be the Talmud and the rejection of Jesus as Messiah. These fundamental beliefs are the dark light that now guidres modern Talmudic Judaism. This is the dark light that now guidres modern Zionism.
