Seems to me that maybe Cal Reed was just a figure head all along, to get them through the lawsuit, which took longer than he expected. Now that they are close to shipping, it was time for him to step aside and let the founders reclaim the power & glory. So either the ouster was pre-arranged since CR took office, which smacks of the first stock rise being a pump & dump swindle that CR was the patsy to cover up, or he was forced out in an assasination power grab for another run up the spike. I agree with you all, it shows that these people have NO IDEA how to present a professional, in-control image to the public or to the investors. Regardless of their impending ability to manufacture, I think this will all come back around on the other side of next year's price spike, when VLNC has to show they can actually manage a company with revenues (which don't pan out to meet the extraordinary expectations). Don't buy this stock expecting to hold it for more than 9 months.
