LOL - do you have any further evidence to add functionality of the honesty meter in your brain.

"How can you say an engineer is more of a hard scientist than a physicist, or mathematician, or biologist, or chemist, or any other hard scientist? Much harder to get a PHD degree in theoretical physics than engineering!"

LOL again - when was the last time someone flunked out of the Arts and Science College and morphed into an engineer. We called the A&S building the "Big Rock Candy Mountain".

Hard scientist? What I said was that engineers have to do things and deliver functionality. We do not get paid for smoking pot and thinking "good thoughts" around the camp fire.

PS: What do you think would happen to your SIL's employment situation if Monday morning he went in and announced that he had concluded AGW was a big lie? Unemployed?
