We liberals forced him out of office. So don't tie we liberals to LBJ, we hated the guy.

Liberal, schmiberal.. Get real.. You loved LBJ's "Great Society" stuff and the way he cranked up the welfare/entitlement state, the one that's grown like a cancer and is currently suffocating our economy..

However, the 1968 election was all about Vietnam. And that's why he decided not to run again. But that's a whole 'nuther story..
