We forced LBJ out of office. He quit when it was clear Eugene Macarthy would beat him in either the Minn or Wis primary? I was in the streets protesting against LBJ, I know.

Of course we liked the great society. We liberals believe in helping the poor and downtrodden.

Like when FDR helped the destitute during the great depression and had to fight the pubs to do it. Pubs never care about anyone but themselves.
