If you don't mean what you say, you should say so.

There is no indication you knew, before the last hour, that she never said it.

Palin's precise quote was:

"They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska."

And this is absolutely factual information, which even NOW you're calling an "exaggeration".

How I "feel" has nothing to do with it. I'm more interested in facts, and as is typical you have the facts wrong.
