Without a conviction, impeachment is just political posturing, which is what Clinton's was. A president doesn't deserve to be impeached for legal private actions, no matter how tawdry.

He was impeached for lying under oath, not for his tawdry affairs. Where the legality of his actions are one thing, he proved himself to be scum when he threw Monica Lewinsky under the bus with his lies. He later made it worse by blaming her for his actions.

And this is all ignoring that the most powerful man in the world was having sexual relations with an intern. In other words, the power differential between the president and one of his interns makes this blatant sexual harassment.

Why weren't liberals condemning Clinton's blatant sexist activities?
