bloomberg.com This is a more interesing article about MBIA. I wondered why Bruce had not held his entire position until a settlement was announced but maybe toward the end MBIA got to be a very risky bet, something I had not appreciated. If you can believe the article, they will do well again after interest rates start to go up again, maybe not a lot until then. I suspect the stock price will be higher in two or three years, but I have a nice gain and it was a spec position so I will probably sell.
