Interesting that Gstrf has been down so much in last several days, while Lor remains as you say unscathed. I suspect its just a low volume anomaly.

Re: Lor not being perceived high tech....I think its more that Lor is not perceived as being as impacted by the current Asian deflation/currency issues.

Although G*/Lor is looking for significant revenues from the most affected regions, its not in the plan to have money coming in to any sig. degree until 1999, and most of that late 99 and later....when the hope is that the problems are turning around.

So, if we have a declining interest rate environment, which lifts P/Es, but no 98 exposure to asian deflation....you have a strong environment. (Note that Rmbs has also held up well, in nosebleed territory, for I think similar reasons.)
